Looking for some great music that fits the easy going, laid back, and artistic style of Chico? Look no further. Rebelution recently hit the Senator Theatre and sold out!

That’s right, sold out. This fantastic band from Santa Barbera, CA played an incredible set much to the delight of many, many Chico fans. Consisting of Eric Rachmany (guitar, vocals), Marley D. Williams (bass), Rory Carey (keyboards), and Wesley Finley (drums), the group started jamming together while attending UCSB in 2004, and have quickly risen to be among the top dogs in reggae.

With three full length albums in circulation (2009’s Bright Side of Life being the most recent) the band has been touring mercilessly and continues to build their highly loyal following. The guys say they have some incredibly supportive fans, and everyone is really into the positive vibes of the music. With so many bands out there today attempting to wow fans with overly-gaudy stage extras, excessively intricate music, and too much fluff, Rebelution is a breath of fresh aire and matched the flow of how we operate here in the North State.
