Chico State - First Day

Bored of having fun? Bored of barbecues and the lake and lazy days? WELL GOOD NEWS!!!!! school started. That’s right folks, today was the first day back for many returning students and many freshies at our very own Chico State University. Believe it or not this is Chico State’s one hundred and twenty-second year in operation, so let’s celebrate!
Whether you are excited to get back into the swing of things, or a bit annoyed at the prospect of having to sit in classes and do homework again, you can appreciate the excitement this time brings. Old friends reunite, new ones meet, and the college serves as a hub for exciting activities and happenings starting back up in Chico!
Team Grid will be doing a large amount of coverage in and around the school soon, so make sure to keep your eyes peeled for new content involving YOUR school. Speaking of your school, let us know what you want to see! Have a desire to get some info on the Arts department but not sure if it’s your thing? Let us know. Hey, while we’re talkin about it, help us out and SUBMIT STUFF! Hear a really good lecture or have a great class you’d like to shed some light on? Let us know. Just to remind you, here at The Grid we’re all about working with YOU, so the more fresh stuff we get from the beautiful minds of Chico citizens, the better.
With that said, sharpen your pencils, buy that extra pack of paper, and stock up on the Red Bull…oh, remember your cologne/perfume too cause you’re about to have lotssssss of dates with the books on study nights! Stay strong, and always remember, C’s get degrees. PAY ATTENTION!
